Oh, wow. I love how Toph is resistant to learning how to be blind in different ways than she's used to (especially because, as this story points out, her blindness is still a "flaw" and a shameful secret in her family), and how she decides to try in a VERY uneasy way at the end. And I love how Wing-Yun is totally unshaken by anything Toph does, and the hints of a shared experience between them, (her laughter at Toph asking if she teaches blind people to "poke strangers"--oh, Toph! Ahahahahaha!) even as their experiences of blindness are different.
