Summary: Kaorin planned to spend this summer meeting new girls and getting over her crush on Sakaki. Instead, Tomo talked her into going to Iriomote to search for a legendary giant cat, and Kaorin ends up lost in the woods, hiding in a hut with an injured Sakaki and hoping the big cat that's following them doesn't find a way in. Of course.
This is just SO PERFECT. There is a cryptozoological animal and being lost in the woods is a major plot point and also Osaka/Tomo and just plain Tomo. TOMO, my god. (I keep laughing out loud at everything that comes out of Tomo's mouth. Which makes reading it hella slow, as Tomo has a big mouth. NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING.)
