So I totally misjudged when Kaleidoscope opens by...a week? orz. (At least now I can familiarize myself with more sources, whether to make Treats or just to better enjoy more fanworks). To pass the time, here are things I wish actually existed:

 ATLA/Chak De! India: The International Indian women's hockey team has always lived in the Avatarverse, plays a possibly-fantastical version of field hockey, and Komal and Toph are BFFs/girlfriends/get in lots of fights/kick ass and take names.

Cabin Fever/Twin Peaks: Albert, now working for the CDC, must investigate reports of a flesh-eating virus. Dale is somehow involved in the investigation, too, whether as a consultant or if he actually comes along. They run into Deputy Winston, who may have contacted the CDC to begin with. Hilarity ensues--especially once Dale remembers you need water to make coffee.

Disgaea 4: Desco/Fuka FOREVER. They could share sodas/candy/ramen or cuddle or hold hands/tentacles or kill lots of monsters or read shoujo manga/watch romantic J-Dramas together or just....CONSENSUAL ROMANCE BETWEEN A HUMAN AND A TENTACLE-CREATURE OMG <3 <3 <3

Ga-Rei: Zero: An epic AU where ( spoilers for episode 9 )

In not-even 500 words, we have:

• use of Teo in a metaphor worthy of Zuko (and not by a member of the Fire Nation royal family)
• the F-word
• gratuitous lying (also not by a member of the Fire Nation royal family)
• ableism on purpose
• accusations of incompetence
• more ableism on purpose
• "You don't even know you are wrong"--which pissed off Azula so much she has no comeback and I have to stop writing until she thinks of one

They haven't even gotten to: "At least I remember [our adventure], because I didn't spend half of it drunk." "I was not drunk, but if I was, it was your fault."

And they're supposed to be friends now. Sort of. I guess.

So now that I've written my very first crossover ever (Aladdin/ATLA), I want a whole 'verse like this: Sokka and Aladdin getting into lots of trouble making cunning plans and having lots of adventures and arguments! ("That carpet isn't really magic"); Abu/Appa/Iago/Momo shenanigans! Jasmine and Toph teaching each other bending! Aladdin not being a bender and the Genie unable to make him one! (Which complicates his disguise as, you know, a prince). Although the Genie might be able to make Sokka one, since the creators have said he has bending potential, but never realized it.

OMG WANT.

*I still don't know who/what their threat is. (I REALLY don't want to have to go for undead hordes, ladies). I do know it isn't June, since June wants to join them in whatever they're doing and since they both want to have wild, passionate sex with her. Not at the same time, since they don't like each other...which means I will have to write at least TWO separate sex scenes, and I am the worst sex writer ever. Toph and Azula did this to me on purpose, because they are jerks.
