Since all the cool kids are doing it, and also since I’ve actually been reading lately because my fancy new Kindle HD is awesome. Also-also, a version of my very favorite text editor that I'm not enough of a coder and too cheap to buy went open-source. (I'm enough of a pirate to have hunted down the binary, however.) So I'm writing a lot more!

What are you currently reading?

Drift by Rachel Maddow, about the…war culture? in the US and how it’s shifted (to put it mildly) from what our Founding Fathers wanted.

What did you recently finish reading?

Bishoujo Sailor Moon vol. 3! I finished the first major arc and now I can watch the live-action series before picking up the fourth one!

What do you think you'll read next?

Bedbugs by Ben H. Winters—a horror novel about BEDBUGS FROM HELL. (“Bedbugs from hell” is in the book description, I swear.) The only reason I’m not reading this right the fuck now is because ALL THE COPIES WERE CHECKED OUT.

Just when things couldn’t get any better, while looking up the author’s name for this post I learned that Tango Pictures is making a movie out of it. And Ti West is set to direct.
