Thank you so much! I'm very fond of genderqueer!Ranma. Sie still has hir "Boy" onepiece--several of them, in fact--because he likes to go swimming even when he doesn't feel like a girl. Or she'll wear them even when she does, especially the pink ones with Hello Kitty and the "Boy" written in sparkles.
I think my favorite bit is that Akane still relates to Ryoga as P-chan in bed, and how easily that could have been done in an infantilizing way (in the bad way, I mean *g*), but doesn't come across like that at all.
Oh, good. I'm glad you thought so. I was worried, especially with the "beddy-bye" bit, but I was thinking of it like an inside joke or a secret between them that Ranma wasn't a part of.
