cripbigbang, the Big Bang for characters with canonical disabilities (or arguably canonical disabilities) is open for writer and artist (vidder, fanmixer, meta writer) signups!

Here is the schedule/rules/FAQ

While I've never written fic anywhere near Big Bang length (although nenena's birthday present is slowly turning into one, orz IT WILL BE LATE), I did sign up to write meta. Because I have no problem going on about disabled characters for at least 1,000 words.

In not-entirely-unrelated news, I'm going to see Brave and Seven Psychopaths at the cheap movie theater today! BY MYSELF!

BRAVE IS AWESOME, OMG IT WAS WAY DIFFERENT THAN I WAS EXPECTING AND I LOVED IT. (Although the stuff I was expecting was also there and IT WAS FABULOUS.) I want all the fic of Merida going hunting with her dad and triplet shenanigans and maybe Merida is ace? And maybe she hangs out with the boys from the other clans and they're like: "I'm not in love with you" and she's like "I'm not in love with you either! Let's spar!" Or maybe she is BFFs with Mulan (either the Disney one or the legendary one) and/or Cleopatra, as I was a Classics major once upon a time and might as well have more fun with it than "God of War is a pretty good game, and so is Shadow of Rome, because I have no taste whatever." And WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SHE IS QUEEN? And also, Elinor and Fergus doing kinky things, because WHY NOT?

I don't know if I want to read fic in this fandom but omg, her sparring with the boys and being bffs with them would be so perfect (and exactly where the movie was going imo! ahh, such a happy movie!) Also, I could totally see her being bffs with Mulan or Cleopatra. Who runs the world? Girls!
