Trick or Treat Exchange 2014 letter

Dear Trick or Treat Exchange Pumpkin,

Hey! Thanks so much for writing/drawing for me! I’m sure I’ll love anything you make.

All levels of violence/gore are A-OK with me and my only squicks are incest and underage sex. I like characters interacting with each other in any way. I also dig character studies, horror, adventure, interdependence (characters helping each other out), and humor.

(I kinda rambled on. Feel free to ignore this. Like I said, I’ll be happy with anything).

Avatar: The Last Airbender:

Azula (Avatar), Iroh (Avatar), Katara (Avatar), Toph Bei Fong, Zuko (Avatar)

Not gonna lie: Azula/Toph is the ship of my heart, and if you want to put them together in any way at all I’ll be very happy. (I’m not kidding–“standing in the same general vicinity” and beating each other up TOTALLY counts.)

I also like Toph and Katara together (either as friends or shippy), and basically…all the nominated characters in any combination except incest.

From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series:

Satanico Pandemonium, Freddie Gonzalez, Carlos Madrigal, Seth Gecko

The first season of this is only 10 episodes long and I just…want more of it: more of the world, more of the characters, more of everything. Something from Santanico or Carlos’s past? What other powers do the culebras have? Does Freddie have any (other) powers related to his bloodline?

Hyperdimension Neptunia:

Plutia | Iris Heart, Blanc | White Heart, Neptune | Purple Heart, Nepgear | Purple Sister, Noire | Black Heart

I love this game series to bits. I have a really strong attachment to Nepgear. Because mk2 was my introduction to the series? Because I had a Sega GameGear as a kid? (I literally said: “OHHHHH NOOO!” when she says in Victory that reviewers and gamers alike complained she was boring. Okay, I was laughing, too. That’s just the kind of game this is.) I would love to see her interacting with Neptune. But I love all the characters, and ship them in almost any combination. (I don’t ship any Little Sisters with the older goddesses, but other than that, have fun!) If you want to come up with original characters, PLEASE DO!

I’m in the middle of playing Victory now and haven’t finished it—and haven’t played any of the Vita games or seen the anime, either—but I don’t mind spoilers at all.

Night of the Creeps (1986):

John Carpenter “J.C.” Hooper, Ray Cameron, Cynthia Cronenberg, Chris Romero

(UGGGH when I was writing the tags at AO3 I accidentally wrote JC’s first name as “James”)

Oh, man, this movie! It’s so silly and scary and I love everyone and didn’t want them to die. JC is one of my favorites (AU where he lives and gets together with Chris like he wanted? JC/Chris/Cynthia?) Or just everyone being friends and kicking zombie-brain-slug ass?

Ranma 1/2:

Hibiki Ryouga, Saotome Ranma, Tendou Akane, Shampoo (Ranma 1/2)

Okay, so…I first read Ranma 1/2 in my 30s because a) it was at my library, and b) I’d heard of it. And I have a navigational disability that, until then, I’d never seen portrayed in fiction before—much less in a way I related to. So, Ryouga Hibiki has a special place in my heart. But he can also be a creepy, arrogant jerk, and I love everything about him, including his awfulness. (If you’re worried about the disability angle, don’t be—the manga is scarily accurate IME, and hilarious!)

But I love everyone. More of Shampoo and Ranma interacting? Akane and Shampoo? I ship everyone with everyone else, basically, and moresomes are A-OK!

Soul Eater:

Black Star, Death the Kid, Maka Albarn

These three are some of my favorite characters—I’d love to see Kid and Maka interact more. I also love Black Star and Kid (romantic or platonic), and Black Star and Maka (I’d rather not ship them, since they pretty much grew up together and are like brother and sister. I do ship Maka with Tsubaki, though.).
