Lyrics:
Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy
Grab my glasses, I’m out the door, I’m gonna hit this city
Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack
‘Cause when I leave for the night, I ain’t coming back
I’m talking pedicure on our toes, toes Trying on all our clothes, clothes
Boys blowing up our phones, phones
Drop-topping, playing our favorite CDs Pulling up to the parties
Trying to get a little bit tipsy
Don’t stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I’mma fight ’Til we see the sunlight
Tick tock on the clock But the party don’t stop, no
Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh, Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh
Don’t stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I’mma fight ’Til we see the sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock But the party don’t stop, no
Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh, Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh
Ain’t got a care in world, but got plenty of beer
Ain’t got no money in my pocket, but I’m already here
And now, the dudes are lining up cause they hear we got swagger
But we kick em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger
I’m talking about everybody getting crunk, crunk
Boys trying’ to touch my junk, junk
Gonna smack him if he getting too drunk, drunk
Now, now, we go until they kick us out, out Or the police shut us down -
the party don’t start ’til I walk in
Don’t stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I’mma fight ’Til we see the sunlight
Tick tock on the clock But the party don’t stop, no
Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh, Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh
Don’t stop, make it pop DJ, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I’mma fight ’Til we see the sunlight
Tick tock on the clock But the party don’t stop, no
Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh, Oh oo whoa oo whoa oh
The Babadook vid let me get used to working with iMovie—and I wanted to make more vids. But I didn’t feel like doing a bunch of clipping.kiki_miserychic’s request for a Bitch Puddin’ vid had me at “she’s only in 8 episodes” but the “she is the greatest character ever created” is what really stole my heart. A very favorite character with really limited screentime? I had to do something about this. (So what if I haven’t watched Robot Chicken for a few years?)
It didn’t take me long to love Bitch Puddin’, too! Anyone who can massacre an entire town of berry people with a minigun deserves a special place in my heart.
As for the song choice…well, it was really the only one. I don’t believe there can be too many “TiK ToK” vids—making one is a vidding rite of passage, practically. And, bonus, the song’s heavy beat made it easier to vid all the jerky stop-motion animation. BLAM!
In short, making this was great fun—although it did lead to me being cocky and making other vids with limited footage. Like the one for Cheryl Williams from The Evil Dead and the other for That Movie About Killer Worms That’s 70% Useless Love Triangle.
