I have four cats and one dog! (The dog is a Papilion, and most of the cats are bigger than he is).
The dog's name is Rusty, and he's going on 3. The cats are all much older, and think he's a punk. He likes them, but wants to play with them like they're dogs: he wags his butt in the air at them and chases them. Were his name not Rusty when we got him, I would have named him Gizmo.
Baby Girl is the oldest cat; she is a brown tabby cat and likes me, but is afraid of my mother. (At the shelter we got her from, many of the workers were women who were my-age-at-the-time. Also, Baby Girl always associates Mom with Unpleasant Things like getting ear-mite medicine or getting her nails clipped, even though I freely handed her over).
Leo and Bonnie are next. Leo is a black tabby (slightly darker than Baby Girl), and has one eye and extra toes on all his feet. (I think most polydactyl cats usually just have them on their front feet). He's very sweet, but likes to be in your way if you are doing anything: paying bills, reading the paper, etc. Bonnie is the smallest; she's black and white and wants to be the Boss Cat, so she beats up all the other cats and takes their stuff. (Her archnemisis is Baby Girl, who is more of a Benevolent Dictator Cat. They keep stealing the leather chair in the corner from each other, because nobody knows/cares/remembers this chair is actually mine.).
Clay is the youngest, and also the biggest; he's, like, 18 pounds, but has the quietest mew of everyone. (We named him after Clay Aiken). He is part Pokémon, and his goal in life is to Headbutt All The Things and Gore Them With His Teeth. (I have to keep reminding him that library books aren't mine for him to wreck).
Clay and Baby Girl have seen lots and lots of Twin Peaks.
