Another whiny fic list, for wee!Michael Myers (and I've misunderstood The Omen for YEARS)

Or, this is what happens when I try to plan something that needs a plot:

• It is important that wee!Damien Thorn beats wee!Michael at Mouse Trap. Thus, the earliest I can set the story is in 1963.
• If wee!Damien is born on June 6, 1956 (ha! see what I did there?), he will be at least 6 years old. This means the story will take place after the events of the first Omen.
• This means, NOOOOO!, because it is also important that wee!Michael and wee!Damien meet up with their friends the Children of Midwich.
• Everything is ruined.

Damien could also just be born on June 6 at 6:00 (which is canon), which would fix everything. But then it brings up something about The Omen that I suddenly realize I don't know. Is Damien causing the non-accidents himself, or is it someone else (like, oh, Satan) as a way of protecting him? It seemed to me that wee!Damien enjoyed the non-accidents/stared intently if he were present, which made me think he did cause them; but he doesn't know he is the Antichrist in the sequel. Also, how can Damien know that people are suspicious that he is the Antichrist if a) they are thousands of miles away, and b) he doesn't know he's the Antichrist? And if wee!Damien doesn't know he's the Antichrist, how can he and wee!Michael be BFFs?! Worse, if Damien is not causing the non-accidents, being good at Mouse Trap no longer makes sense.

Why can't I understand fake Antichrists? I am the WORST CATHOLIC EVER.

An A/N or mention in the summary that the timeline was fudged to fit in all three fandoms would work, too.

I think the year of Deamien's birth changed a couple of times during the series. So you have free rein to fudge it. All we know for sure is that Damien was born in Rome at 6:00am, June 6th.
