I will get back to my white_lotus assignment today, damnit. Right now, in fact. ETA: It is now the longest fic I've ever written, and is nowhere near done.

Okay, so I cheated

At twelve, he was the Avatar: a target that she and Ty Lee and Azula discussed over red bean cake. At thirteen, he was Zuko’s student and friend and she wished he was still a target for death, even so. (Of course the person Azula had killed would say, “Whatever you think is best, Zuko. I trust you.”) At fourteen, he clinked a mug of tea with her and they played Pai Sho at the Jasmine Dragon.

At fifteen, he made her a fruit pie for the very first time.

You know what's hilarious? I was actually thinking of an Ouran/Harry Potter crossover this morning and suddenly wanted this whole epic thing where Ouran is a huge, important wizarding school in Japan, and Hikaru and Kaoru play Quiddich, and they end up going to Hogwarts for the Qudditch Cup and meet Fred and George. Or, maybe it would be even better for the Hogwarts crew to come to Ouran.

And now I want to re-read Harry Potter so I can write this nonsense.
