Sometimes, while punching Kuno in the face, he wonders why his arm doesn’t flow right. It’s like...pushing a cinderblock or something. And when he kicks, jumps off rooftops, there are times he almost loses his balance because his toes point so far. How come they’re so far away?
Not that he ever would lose his balance, of course. Or lose to Kuno in a fight.
But he tells Akane how uncute she is, how even he has bigger boobs, and his voice is all wrong. It echoes in his head funny, like the dong of a bell. And his laughter is so deep--like, literally, deep in his chest when it should be closer to his nose. And then he has this weird...dream? daydream? (nah, a dream) where he beat Ryoga up by undoing his pigtail and shouting “Moon Prism Power!” It’s that jerk’s fault, keeping him waiting here for days.
They’re little things--so quick you could miss ‘em if you blinked, really--so he’s surprised when he finds a Hello Kitty charm and his chest hurts because he has no bracelet to put it on.
