kink_bingo card, and I think I'm going to try for a trans/genderqueer character bingo! (I'm also going for a characters with disabilities bingo. And a blackout. Stop laughing, I CAN DO IT.)
Anyway, the line has watersports (Croooona! Oh, my plans for you!) and class fantasies (Tamaki/Haruhi!), and Ranma Saotome would totally do something with sensory deprivation. (Badass martial arts training FTW!) That just leaves "pervertibles" and "spanking/paddling." If anyone has any ideas, FEEL FREE TO OFFER THEM! Other trans and genderqueer characters I know of/can write as trans or genderqueer are:
Ryoji/Ranka Fujioka. Identified by canon as Haruhi's father, but that's not a hard-and-fast rule, y'all. (What may be a problem is, I don't know of any old-enough guys to ship Ranka with).
Komal Chautala from Chak De! India (Komal/Preeti, doing things with hockey equipment? Which they bought expressly for the purpose. Any other ideas welcome, natch!)
Agent Denise Bryson from Twin Peaks (Would Dale Cooper ask her to punish him for being a bad boy during the investigation of his conduct?)
Kitten Braden from the film Breakfast on Pluto--I haven't read the novel, unfortunately. (I'll have to rewatch it, but NOT A PROBLEM)
Toph Bei Fong from Avatar: The Last Airbender (loving being cast as a huge dude in the play…) I usually ship Toph with Katara or Azula (I have yet to figure out if I can ship the three of them together), but again, ALL IDEAS WELCOME.
Speaking of Katara, the idea of her as a trans woman intrigues me GREATLY.
I've also written Mr. Blonde from the film Reservoir Dogs as a trans man before.
Other notes to self:
1. Self, the mere fact that we are seriously considering abandoning our planned foot/shoe fetish fill for Medusa icons probably means there is anxiety/a lack of confidence there, and we should write the damned fill already. We should probably work on it now.
2. No, I don't think Death the Kid going to Nerima ("All kinds of weird stuff happens there, son") and fighting Ranma, and going: "Dammit, I hate this idiot. (But he's also hot.) It's like he reminds me of some bastard I know" counts as a fill for "mirrors and doubles." Also Ranma said, "Of course you're here to fight me. Everyone comes to fight me. Especially funny-lookin' people with stupid hair" and BROKE EVERYTHING. (I could send Black Star instead, maybe.)
