So I'm reading Sailor Moon for the first time! And I just met Chibi-Usa! I hear she's hated by the fandom, but I'm assuming the fandom is wrong and I LIKE HER SO FAR, DAMMIT. Seriously. How freakin' badass* is it to ( spoilers ) And she's, like, FIVE YEARS OLD (more or less).

Today I....

....bought something at the comic book store for the first time! (I walk there a lot to learn where it is.) The thing I bought was vol. 2 of Sailor Moon. My plan is to buy a volume a month, so I get to savor them. (I just finished rereading vol. 1).

Considering that I just got rid of a bunch of books, my mom may kill me XD.

ETA: Wrote NO WORDS WHATEVER for the [community profile] femslash12 fic, even though I took my laptop to Starbucks. (Starbucks is expensive, yo.) But I got 15 days--I can do this.

  • Proofread a video game review

  • Get a medication refill. Somehow acquire another Hello Kitty shirt in the process

  • Watch Infernal Affairs

  • Marvel that someone thought an American remake of Battle Royale was a good idea.

  • Listen to my mother complain about how I've skewed our Netflix recommendations

  • Read more Sailor Moon. YOU GUYS! I used to cry very easily [see list item #2]. Usagi also cries very easily! She is also a magical girl HOW AWESOME IS THAT? I mean, the second time she had to save the day, her guardian Luna was all, "Transform into Sailor Moon!" and Usagi was like: "What? Again?!" Also, I know I'm, like, three chapters in, but Queen Beryl/Jadeite offers much [community profile] kink_bingo potential. Just sayin.' So may Ami/Usagi, frankly. *Ponders how to turn video game-playing into a kink. Maybe some Sailor V roleplay is in order?*

  • Go buy more cat food (my mother ended up doing it)

  • Stop at Best Buy (and I bought the original Straw Dogs!)

  • Play the video game I'm supposed to be reviewing
