New developments in the Toph-Azula thing, kind of

Toph: It damn better be. I'm not forgiving her in five seconds.
Azula: Still, it was better-plotted than anything you've ever written, or will write in the future.
Me: Yes, exactly.
Toph: Also, our adventure should have a higher body-count.
Me: That, too.

It's been in the works for A LONG TIME, and still has no plot. (I haven't even been able to send Maka Albarn and Death the Kid on a proper adventure yet, which is WAY less ridiculous.) I mean, for them to even THINK about working together and if I don't them to forgive each other in five seconds Toph's friends (and Zuko) can't be available to help, which is REALLY HARD to get around.

But Azula and Toph are much fun together.

If you've finished the series (if not, please wait!), lizbee's makes a battle like a song is a really wonderful Azula/Toph adventure. (They're lovers. And there is porn. But also...adventure!) It's FULL of snark! Disclaimer: It's a work in progress, but I've read an early draft of it.

(My standards are quite a bit lower. If I ever write this I hope they end up somewhere between fire-forged friends and "enh, I don't hate you as much as I thought.")
